History of the Chef
In its search for a quality of cuisine suited to the exclusive setting, Yachts de Paris is privileged to have the talents of Parisian chef Jean-Pierre Vigato on-board. Son and grandson of fine chefs, he discovered his vocation at the age of 14. A self-taught cook, he learned his trade through intuition and hard work. In 1979, he opened his first restaurant in Paris and won his first star. Five years later, he opened Apicius in Paris where he won his second Michelin star.

His cooking is modern, inventive and light. It combines imagination and a refined bourgeois tradition. Both his recipes and his approach to “haute cuisine” suit the aims of Yachts de Paris perfectly: namely, to offer its passengers the very best, both on the Seine and on the menu.
