• Drop off at the Caen train station at the end of the afternoon

A complete 4 to 5 hours round trip with a bilingual guide from Le Mémorial de Caen, in an air-conditioned mini-van, including the visit of the following main sites :

• The artificial harbor at Arromanches
• The battery at Longues-sur-Mer
• The American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer
• Omaha Beach
• The Pointe du Hoc

It is a direct trip from Paris to Caen (Normandy), and Caen to Paris, and lasts between 2hrs and 2hrs1/2.

* Cost for a train ticket :

For information a return ticket Paris-Caen and Caen-Paris is about 60€ per person in 2nd class, and 98 € per person in 1st class (indicatives 2008 rates, subject to changes).

Time schedule for the "D-Day tour" :

Train departure from the Paris Saint-Lazare station is scheduled at 07:12 am.
Pick-up at the Caen train station is scheduled at 08:57 am.

Meeting point with the guide at the Caen train station is defined in the main hall of the station. The guide displays a "Le Mémorial de Caen" sign.

Return and drop off to the Caen train station is scheduled between 7:00 and 7:30 pm in high season and between 6:00 and 6:30 pm in low season.
 
Visitors have to schedule their train for the return to Paris into these timetables.

Please Note, If canceled more than 15 days prior to the tour, the cancellation fee will be 50%.
For cancellations occurring between 15 and 4 days prior to the tour, a 60% cancellation fee will apply. There shall be no refund for tours canceled less than 4 days prior to the tour date.
