You have the choice between 3 different promenades: either choose the Left Bank or Montmartre or the Right Bank as the backdrop for this oenological adventure.

We meet at the bottom of the picturesque rue Mouffetard with its history myth and mystique and home to Hemmingway. After your first glass of wine we pass Saint Medard a church founded in 1140 and see the bar from filmed in the movie “Amélie” as we head up the hill towards the Pantheon a massive temple commissioned in 1744 by Louis 15th and built by the architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot. It was originally a church but under the revolution it became a burial place for the honored men of France. It houses the bodies of Voltaire Rousseau Mirabeau Marat Victor Hugo Emile Zola.
We arrive at a small local wine bar which looks like an old Parisian bistro with tiled floor wooden chairs and old black and white photos on the wall. Afterwards we make our way downhill and will pass the Church of Sainte Geneviève built 1492-1626 noted for it sustained glass windows as well as the famous Sorbonne University and rue de la Huchette home of one of the oldest Jazz Clubs in Paris.
As we approach the Seine we will see Notre Dame before arriving at our next tasting that will take place at a Specialist of Bordeaux where you'll lose the notion of time perceiving not only the authenticity of the decor but also that unique atmosphere that can only be found in places steeped in history
We end the afternoon at a small traditional bistro where the service is friendly and the walls are covered with old advertising posters from the bookseller's stalls along the river.
As you walk towards the Eglise Eustache a magnificent 16th century church you will stop en route at charming wine bars that the locals frequent. Continue towards the beautiful Place des Victoires and a 19th century covered passage still filled with the hustle and bustle of specialty boutiques.
Start your tour close to the only remaining vineyard in Paris that still produces wine. You will heard towards the Place du Tertre and soak in the atmosphere that once inspired Picasso Toulouse-Lautrrec and Renoir. At the end of the tour why not enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Paris from the Sacre-Coeur.
Wine is included in your tour but cheese and charcuterie are not but feel free to order a plate in anyone of the bars you visit.
