You'll start your day with the Scenic Route du Champagne. It meanders among the vineyards and picturesque villages offering a charming bucolic landscape. We take you to the Côte des Blancs for a sightseeing of some of the most famous Grandes Maisons de Champagne such as: Bollinger Gosset Deutz etc. En route the countryside is enamelled with beautiful Grand Cru villages like Ay Hautvillers Bouzy Le Mesnil Vernezay etc.
Before lunch you'll get a chance to visit and enjoy a tasting at Moët & Chandon. Founded in 1743 by Claude Möet it has become one of the becomes the first international Champagne brands in the world.
Next on this beautiful tour is a drive through Avenue de Champagne in Epernay. Known as the "Capital of Champagne", Epernay’s stunning main street appears like an exhibition of opulent mansions, Moët & Chandon, Perrier-Jouet, Mercier, etc.
Lunch will be an opportunity to taste some of the local specialties, dutifully assorted with three styles of
Champagne. Pairing food and wine will be a joyful moment as you savour your 3-course lunch (included)
At the beginning of the afternoon, we'll head to Dom Pérignon & Hautvillers village . Our first stop will be a tasting at a family estate. Here you'll see the difference in production with the more industrialized Moet et Chandon. The love of the family for their production of the bubbly wine will be apparent in the quality and care of their production. Among the Grandes Maisons de Champagne, no less than 1,000 family wine-makers contribute to the prestige of Champagne.
